Demon baby went to the zoo. He was so sweet. He talked to the giraffes. He pet the giraffes. We almost forgot he was a Demon Baby. See the gentle Demon.
Then Demon Baby decided he wanted to scale the fence. He actually got in with the moose. Bad security. No mere fence can keep a Demon Baby from his appointed mission. Note the determined face.
What great pics! The last time we went to the zoo the ONLY animal my kids were interested in seeing was the giraffe and it wasn't out. Oh, well, maybe next time!
The look on his face says everything. The first time I took Dario to the zoo, I bought him a cheap, disposable camera and he owned the day. We still have the photos - wobbly, fuzzy but his own record of the day. By the way, he's a pretty good photographer now - gets the angles and shapes right. Good composition. The cameras of today mostly do the technical stuff.
Suzanne: My two middle kids tale pictures. In this era of digital, they have all kinds of fun, and they make movies, too. I'll have to post one of their YouTube creations. E
Melanie: Hopped over the fence to retrieve him. He also slipped UNDER a fence and went up to a spider monkey and shook its hand. (This zoo is pretty . . . em . . . it's small, so I don't think they take security as seriously as other places or big zoos). I was mroe freaked by the spider monkey (envisioned a monkey bite!). However, the hand-shaking was quite gentle . . . and he wants a pet monkey now.
melanie: I know. Like, he thinks he can one day fly. For real. Sometimes, he does concern me. Who am I kidding. ALL the time. I don't want him climbing in with lions next time, you know?

Maybe he was looking for Rocky since he'd already found Bullwinkle.

Conley:
He likes ALL animals. But the bigger and scarier the better,

Travis:
LOL! Perhaps. But you do know he tries to fight squirrls with his Star Wars light sabre, right?

See? That picture says it ALL.

The caption on that last one should read, "Don't mess with me, Mom!"
Very cute lad.
Jude:
That last expression is pretty much how he goes through life. Don't mess with me, indeed.

lol ...go db, go!
i was the same at his age... at 6'4" little stops me today, either ;)
laughing wolf:
He's pretty fearless. Which makes for some terrifying mommy-moments. But his fierceness is part of his charm. :-)

Oh my. Did you have to chase him, or climb the fence to get him? I must know how this story ends.

Of course he does.

no doubt! :)
older daughter was the same way, there was nothing she feared
laughing wolf:
I was a big scaredy-cat as a kid, so I am not sure where he gets it from.
E
scardy cats have papas, too ;)
my son was fearless, too but younger daughter, middle child, never!
I'm glad he's ok. That could've ended badly... of course now he thinks wild creatures are his friends. :)
How cute! Nothing better then seeing a little one face to face with mother nature.
He is one very cute kid. Hope he didn't hurt the moose.

Aimless:
He does kung fu with our dogs all the time. The kid's amazing with animals.

Moose was OK. I have a few new gray hairs.
