Tattoo You

I feel quite certain that Demon Baby will one day be a heavy metal rocker with multiple piercings, a mohawk, and tattoos.

As if to confirm the latter . . .

Anytime it is "too quiet"--that hair standing up on the back of my neck, I know he is in trouble quiet--I come to discover he has marked up his body from head to toe with magic markers. I have hidden every Sharpie in the house--the permanent kind. But with six of us, it is nearly impossible to hide every pen. And now that Demon Baby is toilet-trained, he goes alone to the bathroom--AND knows how to lock the door.

Hence, his legs are green today. His hands black. And he's got some pink around his belly button.

A sign of what's to come one day?

I bet! Just keep the needles hidden. :-) Hey, maybe you need to help him develop a fear of needles... nah, I'm not that evil.

I actually don't mind tattoos. And with him, I resigned to it, I swear.

P.S. When I say he has green legs, I mean like every square inch of leg is green.

My oldest used to do this as well but luckily he has outgrown it and now only colors his tennis shoes and jeans.

LOL! My Oldest used to write on her pants, too.

I like them, too. :-) Just thinking of his cleverness, and was worried he'd figure out how to get a tattoo at 5 years old before you noticed the silence. He might not appreciate having a big Pokemon tattoo when he's 30, LOL. :-)

Oh man, wash him down quickly, Erica! Every time I wrote on myself when I was a kid, my mom told me I'd get "blood poisoning". We must save Demon Baby from this vague and scary ailment!

I used to get that blood poisoning threat when I was a kid, but I don't have any tattoos. It was more fun to draw something new each day. :)

I assume if one day he can forge my signature, before he is 18, he will have SOME kind of ink. I am hoping it's something he might like at 80, and NOT Pokemon. LOL!

Robin:
Did your mom ALSO used to say, "Make that face and it will FREEZE that way"?

Oldest daughter wants a tattoo (small) for her 18th birthday in 3 weeks--and of COURSE wants me in on the adventure. I am considering it.

I was thinking of somehow configuring their intials: JAIN
