Someone's got to make his life (and yours) into a movie. Wonder how he manages to think of the messiest things to do?!
I wonder if he picked through the tomatoes until he found the overripe one. There does seem to be a method to his madness. ;)
momcat:I have no idea. He was so happy, "I'm playing catch with Cosmo"--never dawned on me to ask what he was playing catch WITH.E
Melanie:No . . . it was the ONLY one on the counter, along with some overripe plums. BUT it was the BIGGEST object there. :-)E
Look on the bright side, there are worse things he could've used to play catch with (like rotten eggs), and, he could've hidden that tomato someplace unsuspecting to you (under a couch cushion or in a winter boot) and let it continue rotting.
pita-woman:That is the funny thing. I have reached that point where I usually shrug and think, "It could have been worse."E
Yeah. "He was so happy." Shoulda been a clue. :)
Katharine:Along with . . . he was quiet . . . too quiet . . . LOL!
