Top-Ten Unusual Sightings in Demon Baby's House

So last night, I came across a VERY unusual sight. And I realized . . . this happens a lot when you live with a Demon Baby. So in honor of that . . . a top-ten list (last night's sighting was #2).

1. A snorkel in the bathroom sink.

2. A snorkel in the dishwasher.

3. My diamond ring in the dog's water bowl.

4. Play-do in my shoes.

5. A pillow in the bathtub.

6. My keys in the freezer.

7. My cellphone in a pair of underwear (as a carrying case).

8. A stash of marshmallows in the coffee table drawers in the formal living room.

9. My charm bracelet INSIDE the air-intake vent for the air conditioning unit.

10. A teddy bear INSIDE the CEILING vent in my office (accomplished by stuffing him down the upstairs vent and pushing it all the way with a broom handle).

Snorkels MUST sparkle. Every Demon Baby knows that.

And who doesn't understand hidden marshmallows?

He's a genius.

(my word verification below? beast, lol!)

Before long you will find scrabble tiles that are bread crumbs for the dragon. The question will be, where do they lead?

Beast? LOL! Wow . . .

Richmond . . .

Usually all paths lead to his "nest" (which is like his secret hiding place--only it's not so secret).

#10 is impressive!

Erica Orloff said...

Indeed. In actuality, it was FULL of stuffed animals. But the bear was the one whose face was pressed up against the vent. LOL!

With all the action that snorkel is seeing, #2 sounds very reasonable.

LOL! I have some of the same difficulties with my wild man and Lego. So far I have found a green space alien in the bottom of my purse (which I whipped out to write with thinking it was a small pen), a piece of lego in my bowl of Lucky Charms, and a dwarf in the dryer (which sounds like a good short story).

You forgot the hose in the exhaust pipe. Oh. Right. You didn't see that.

I'm impressed with the hidden marshmallows. I would have eaten them.

As a longtime reader, you know that creativity is his strong suit.

Erica Orloff said...

I agree! It does indeed sparkle! Though now he has stuck a Twizzler in the breathing part. I guess so he can eat underwater.

I avoid looking in my purse for precisely the same reasons.

Erica Orloff said...

Exactly. Not sighted. The dead car is my only proof.

He has many hidden stashes.

i do, and glad he's relatively homebound... so far ;)
