Oh my God . . . the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have arrived.
Demon Baby is in a full-court press for . . .
. . . wait for it . . .
a baby brother. As in he WANTS one. BAD. And feels the need to ask me for one every five minutes.
I know it's a ploy.
He doesn't really want a baby brother. He wants a minion.

You're not wavering, are you?
If you're really considering this, I can get you samples of Cymbalta. They stopped sampling other antidepressants. But there's plenty of Abilify around! (Perhaps that would be more apopro anyway.)
Suzanne:
No. I am not considering it. PRIOR to the terrible twos of Demon Baby (which really have stretched from about 14 months until the present time--3 and a half), I would most definitely have considered it. But he's broken me down.

Robin:
LOL!!!
No. Not considering it. By now, I FULLY (I mean 100%) had expected to be processing paperwork for adoption or being a foster mom. My significant other actually came to me with a newspaper ad for foster parents (desperate need around here). But I just right now don't have it in me. Maybe in two years when kindergarten is an almost-reality.
Cymbalta . . . perhaps I really SHOULD go see my doctor. ;-)
E
Wow. Perhaps we were separated at birth. I am totally into being a foster parent, but my husband has zero interest, and I don't think it's something I can foist upon him. That's an awesome way to give Demon Baby his sibling. I'm so jealous.
Quaking with fear?
It was only a matter of time before he figured that out.
Could you suggest he get an imaginary friend? Then he could create any kind of person/creature he needed.
:)
Robin:
I somehow feel it will someday be part of my life. In fact even my oldest (age 18) has always said it should be something I do . . . felt it was going to be part of my life. I've mentored unwed teen moms and done some work that led me to feel it was something important. Along came Demon Baby, and I totally didn't count on how much energy he has--he is like a whirling tornado. So for now . . . no. But someday I hope.
Aimless:
He actually has two imaginary friends. One is a horse named Gigo. I honestly can't recall the other friend right now, but I believe it is a person, not an animal. I'll push for an invisible baby brother.
:-)
E
Hah! That's hilarious. Totally the minion thing. :-)
Spy:
Yes. Beware his minions if he ever gets any. Then there will be no defeating him.
E
Oh boy! I can just see Demon Baby lining up his minions for training...passing out syrup to every one of them!
conley:
LOL! Yes!
Hope things are better (dog situation, stress).
E
Much better. Thanks. Of course, as soon as I got rid of my ex's dogs, one of my son's was so heartbroken about losing them, we immediately went to the humane society and got another one! She's doing great with us though.
conley:
We have two rescue dogs, and Demon Baby loves them.
