Dear Erie

Long-time readers of this blog no doubt remember this:

http://demonbabyandme.blogspot.com/2009/03/dear-erie-insurance.html

(And be sure to read all the way down the comments to the insurer VP ACTUALLY replying.)

Which somehow got all the way to the hallowed upper offices of Erie, my wonderful insurer (have to admire a company with a sense of humor).

Which led to this:

LOL I missed the response from ERIE. I bet you're happy that they looked into it.

Yeah . . . their media person actually contacted me just a couple of days after I ran that. I'm still not sure how it got forwarded through the ranks . . . but very fun. They have been super nice . . . .

That's so adorable! It makes me really like Erie Insurance, that's for sure!

Way cool. They should hire DB for some commercials with reenactments of things he has done. It would be even better than Geico.

That's good to know. I've not been happy with my insurance company. They raise my rates 10% every year and I have never filed a claim nor do I live in a high risk neighborhood. I don't even have a Demon Baby.

That's what I thought. And their media person was delightful, too.

I think by the time Demon is a teenager you're going to be able to publish this blog and pay for his college.

Too funny! I missed their response too, so I'm glad you pointed it out. I'm wondering how much that policy would cost...
